I needed a shower brush that was strong enough to hold up to my type 4a/b hair but wouldn’t rip my hair out. Sounds like an impossible request – I thought it was – but this brush fits the bill perfectly. I use it to detangle while brushing conditioner through my hair. It works better for me than the teaser style products because the “teeth” penetrate my hairs thickness better. It works better than a standard paddle brush because the bed of the brush is affixed securely. It doesn’t move or come out its slot during use. It works better than those divided, flexible brushes because my hair doesn’t snag around any pieces. I’ve tried them all and I was very pleasantly surprised at how effective this brush is. It subdues all the strands going in different directions into uniform formation. It makes styling after washing soooo much easier because my hair is not only detangled, the actual hair shaft seems smoother. I kid you not.

The only hair brush to untangle my damaged hair and actually work no matter what conditions my hair is under!!! Never using another brush
